#S17 Anniversary Action Webinar on Firedoglake

September 17th marks the one year anniversary of the Occupation of Wall Street in Zuccotti Park. Since then city squares around the world have been occupied in the name of social and economic justice. A direct action turned into a movement. To commemorate the events of the past year organizers in New York City and around the country are planning actions to bring the focus of the movement back to its origin, Wall Street. NYC 9/8: OWS Will March in Labor Parade with Professional Staff Congress at CUNY

OWS will march this Sat Sept 8 in the annual Labor Parade with the Professional Staff Congress at CUNY. Please let us know if you plan to come. This is a great opportunity before S 17 to demonstrate our integration into and support from the labor movement. In fact, this will refute the message with which the main stream media is approaching S 17 — that labor has abandoned its alliance with Occupy Wall Street, so OWS is dead. Continue reading
