In the early 1980s our City and County government made the choice to throw out our ideas, places of public assembly and hope - in trade for the FT DRUM Military expansion. In the year of 2012 we continue to be ignored and our needs for education, quality living and sustainable economic development continue to be thrown into the trash with the sign that once stood for THE CITY OF THE FUTURE. This project is dedicated to creating our own ideas, medias, education and communication centers; to inspire a peoples driven leadership that will respect and represent the WE THE CITY OF THE FUTURE. MIC CHECK! The Fireball Run is coming to Watertown NY and we have front row seats. Confirmed and welcomed this Tuesday Sept 25 from 12pm – 8pm. Occupy Watertown will be Occupying the front lawn of the Masonic Temple on Washington St, for a day of festive events, awareness and promotions. Standing to promote the Occupy Watertown Concepts, Supporting the need for Garret McCarthys MASTERS SQAURE / Cultural Arts Center, and much much more. At 7pm Jared Paul and special guest will begin taking to the MIC and dropping Slam Poetry, upon revolutionary minds at the North Country Arts Council. Lets get fired up friends, Occupy Watertown is ready to drive full speed ahead. Jared Paul and Friends, we cant wait to share this great time in history with you.
