Occupy The Midwest originated with a call to action from Occupy St. Louis looking to host a regional Midwest conference in the early Spring of 2012. Many cities answered the call and the conference was a great success for activists and occupations to network and share ideas and knowledge. Occupy The Midwest continues to evolve in working toward its goal of multifaceted coordination across the Midwest to strengthen the Occupy movement. Occupy The Midwest is looking to hold 2 conferences a year on a 5/7 month cycle during April and September. Email us at occupythemidwest@gmail.com if you would like to nominate your city as a host city.

  1. Thank you incredibly substantially for your exciting text. I have been looking for these types of message to get a definitely very long time. Thank you.

  2. Nigel says:

PLEASE WORK ON GETTING BUSSING TO STATE CAPITALS THAT ARE OPPOSING VOTING RIGHTS FOR ALL CITIZENS….THE STATES THAT ARE REQUIRING VOTER ID. I HAVE SEEN THE POWER OF THE OCCUPY MOVEMENT HERE IN PORTLAND, OR. OUR BLACK POPULATION IS AFRAID OF STANDING UP TO THESE CORPORATE POWERS BECAUSE THEY THINK IT WILL HURT OBAMA – SO US WHITE FOLKS HAVE TO STAND UP TO THOSE WANTING TO RULE (NOT GOVERN) AND SAY – NO MORE!!!!!
AND I WILL BE WITH YOU ALL IN SPIRIT. AS A SENIOR, I HAVE SOME CONSTRAINTS, BUT WILL SEND ON ENERGY, LIGHT AND HOPE TO YOU ALL. THANK YOU ALL FOR STANDING UP FOR HUMAN BEINGS!!!!
