Showing videos of confessed murderers explaining what they did to the bodies and where they put them, at a press conference with journalists who are clearly on the payroll of the Government, the drugs smugglers and Bloomberg, the message of the Mexican General Attorney was two sided because it was addressed to both the international community and the national public.

1. “The 43 students were murdered, their bodies burnt and thrown to a dumpster” – a message to Global Corporate Power and the US Government, meaning “we did our job right, it is not true that the Mexican Government is completely controlled by the organized crime”.

2. “We are unable to confirm whether the remains are those of the students because we have not DNA results, the thugs burned them for hours, they are completely disintegrated and we need special laboratories to get results” – a message to the national public meaning “we are so professional and we take this so seriously that we don’t want to lie to you, we still don’t have the DNA results, Congress should allow the President to travel to China this week, please do not withhold his authorization”.

The Attorney General’s contempt was visible when he nicknamed “The flayed one” first student who was tortured to death and then flayed. He is not “the flayed one.” His name is JULIO CÉSAR MONDRAGÓN and we will remember his face forever.

We will continue protesting. Here in NYC there is a protest today again at Union Square at 3pm organized by a coalition of groups. Then there will be a planning meeting for future actions after that at 7 pm 104 W 14 Street 3rd Floor (between 6th and 7th Ave). Your participation and your input on democratic, horizontal and transparent ways to organize this are most welcome!
