Transformative Activist Training is being put on by the Network for Spiritual Progressives (NSP). The two day workshop will be taught by Rabbi Michael Lerner, editor of Tikkun Magazine and author of The Left Hand of God, and Cat Zavis, chair of the NSP.

Pre-registration and payment (with financial assistance available) is necessary. You can register here:

This workshop is for those who want to either become or learn ways to be more effective political activists that can build a spiritual progressive movement whose goal is transformative and emancipatory. The goal is to enable us to connect more deeply with others to understand where they are coming from, and where we can find common ground for the project of social transformation.

We have already begun building a movement to fundamentally transform our society and nonviolently challenge global capitalism and we need you to join us so we can transform consciousness throughout our society.

The spiritual progressive activists that come through this workshop will know how to articulate a vision that unites people to create a progressive world that speaks to their deepest needs.

The costs for both days is $200. If two or more people from the same organization or social movement attend, there will be a $50 refund that will be given on the first day of the workshop. For those potential attendees that currently do not have the means, there will be a limited number of scholarships granted.
