‘Idle No More’ is a direct response by Canada’s First Nations to the Canadian government’s recent changes of legislation to the Indian Act with the passage of Bill C-45.

‘Idle No More’ began with four women: Nina Wilson, Sheelah Mclean, Sylvia McAdam and Jessica Gordon. These women share a vision of uniting people to ensure the protection of Mother Earth, her lands, waters and people.
