Outline of March
The Purpose of March/Action – On September 3, 2012 Occu-Evolve, The Money Out/Voters In, Occupy Wall Street and several of its working and Affinity Groups affiliated will lead a march to protest, listen, educate, and deepen a dialogue around the issue of democracy and the upcoming national, state-wide and local elections.
Principles of Solidarity (for being in the march)-Non-Violent, peaceful march to bring awareness to the issue of money influencing elections and thus power in this country.
Logistics-where from and where to-The March will take place from the City Hall Park to Cadman Plaza across the Brooklyn Bridge and then proceed to Labor Day March in Brooklyn.
Expectations/Aims-to bring awareness to the corporatocracy we live in and bring more people into the Occupy and other movements that wish to bring about Democracy in America.
Outreach/Educational Materials-corporate/1% control of elections….money in politics, follow up actions and meetings
Alternatives to what we are marching against-Bum Rush the vote, Occupy the Voters, and joining other groups mobilizing around the elections.
Community Buy In-(Why would people be interested in this action?)-Our future depends on it, the economy, trickle-down economics, stalled employment, pensions, job security, debt, student debt

Legal/Permitted March?-Not seeking a permit for this march but it is a non-violent, peaceful and informational one
Marshalls-3 one in front, one middle, one in back-only they need to talk to the police
Ujama (Collective work and responsibilities) Sign making, Propoganda (information), Contact Lists, usage existing materials, live streaming, fundraising
Follow up actions- Occu-Evolve meetings, Coordinating with LOC for S10 Action, Money Out/Voters in (99 Pickets) March by Labor on S17, Occupy the Vote meetings and actions, planning for RED MONDAY (Global Divestment Day)
