If you’ve been following the news from Superstorm Sandy country, you know that the work of recovery from Sandy’s destruction has hardly begun for many of those whose lives have been turned upside down by both the storm and the challenges of re-creating their homes, businesses, and neighborhoods.

With your support, Occupy Sandy New Jersey has been able to work with and empower thousands of people in building more resilient and sustainable communities. For over nine months, we have been working around the clock to address urgent needs, even as we refocus our efforts toward long-term campaigns for social, economic, and environmental justice in the recovery process and beyond.

New Jersey still needs your help. Ten months after Sandy, the long term recovery and rebuilding efforts are just getting started. Amidst the top-down, bureaucratic world of the official recovery process, our ongoing role as a watchdog has never been more important.

In order to continue our critical work, we are counting on your participation and support.
