WHAT: News conference to call for United States Senators,

Congressional Representatives to make the right choices for New York’s

the news conference, groups will continue relief efforts for residents

coping with the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.

WHEN: Thursday, Nov. 8 at Noon

WHERE:  Campos Plaza, Ave C and 12th Street in Manhattan (adjacent to

the blown-out Con-Ed substation)

WHY: Two days after voters across America rejected the Romney-Ryan

breaks for the wealthy, it is imperative that New York’s elected

representatives protect infrastructure funding to help New York

rebuild. Speakers will include voters, students, senior citizens,

low-wage workers, and others who depend on their federal

representatives to make the right choices for American families when

they return to Washington for the Lame Duck session.
